Shameless Self Promotion

The editors of VegNews magazine have selected Vegan Dad as one of the 21 best vegan blogs in the first annual VegNews VegBloggy Awards. Well how about that? Now I feel even more pressure not to suck. I did an interview of sorts via email and they asked for my picture, so if you are interested in getting to know the dad behind the blog, pick up the July/August issue of VegNews (available July 1).

ricki,
I have been so busy baking for the street fair that I really did not think about a celebratory dish. But now, it must be done! With chocolate and all that.

I absolutely LOVE your blog. I've been a vegetarian for 14 years but only a vegan for about 9 months, and am married to an omni so my kids are mostly veg but not fully. I am really trying to woo them all over to the light with great tasting food :) and your blog is a daily inspiration to me. Thanks for all the good (and HARD) work and know that your fans out here really really really enjoy and appreciate what you do! Can't wait to read the article!

Congrats! I won a VegBloggy as well for Vegan Talk.

I'm going to go to San Francisco for the party on June 26th. Are you going to go?

Vegan Dad said...

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Billy,
I would love to go to the party (I can only imagine going to a party where I could eat anything I wanted!), but there is no way I could afford a trip to San Francisco.

to add a little more pressure to the pot, i don't know how many readers from florida you have, but im from florida and i read your blog everyday! i can not wait to tackle your vegan bread recipes, once i have a minute to spare!

but thanks, because your recipes give hope to vegitarians and vegans who think that all you have to eat is fruits and vegetables!
