Happy Holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all my Canadian readers! I am fortunate enough to be surrounded by family and so I will keep this post very brief. Enjoy your time with family and friends, and don't forget about my seitan roast if you are looking for good vegan eats. See you all on Tuesday! In the meantime, enjoy these pics from a recent walk through the woods.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'll add the seitan roast to my tentative list of American Thanksgiving foods...if I do a good enough job, maybe my slew of buck-hunting uncles will try some : )

Happy Thanksgiving, Vegan Dad and family. I've just spent the day helping to feed 200 poor in Toronto's Parkdale district. The meal wasn't vegetarian, though the chief cook knows that I am vegan and he always prepares me a lovely Sri Lankan meal when I go there.

Just a note about being thankful ... I'm thankful for having such a wonderful network of vegans on the net to help support a lone vegan in my circle of friends and relatives. Thanks.

I served your seitan roast for our Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday and it was fantastic. A big hit with everyone. Thanks Vegan Dad!

Happy Thanksgiving to our neighbors in the North! I have done a Harvest Pot Pie a few times, as my contribution to the family's local (Maryland) U.S. Thanksgiving. Have not done a seitan roast yet, but it is under consideration. Thanksgiving is absolutely the best holiday we have invented. The gifts of this continent are so many, we should celebrate for a couple of months, not just one day!
